Among the focal areas of the Department of Orthopaedics and Accident Surgery at the Alfried Krupp Hospital in Essen, under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Krödel, are the surgical treatment of spinal damage and spinal injuries, the joint-preserving surgeries, joint replacement surgeries and sport traumatology accident and reconstructive surgery.
