About the department keyboard_arrow_down

Department of Obstetrics at Andreas Clinic Cham Zug looks forward to assisting you as expectant parents protectively with our extensive experience.

For the overall management of birth, your doctor is responsible. He will assist you throughout the birth process together with an experienced midwife. The midwife monitors the course of birth and gives you advices and active assistances. Your preference of mode of delivery will be taken into consideration by us.

In a cesarean an anesthetist monitors the heart activity and blood circulation, along with the nursing staff. Normally, the caesarean section is performed under regional anesthesia. So you can fully consciously experience the birth of your child.
