The main directions include the functional neurosurgery, skull base surgery and spine surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, craniocerebral trauma surgery and pain surgery. During the post-operative care, the individual rehabilitation measures are coordinated and, when required, an oncological or subsequent radiotherapy treatment is conducted.

The clinic employs five senior doctors, 18 medical assistants and four invited doctors, 71 nurses, seven technical experts, six scientists and five employees. The clinic also has three operating rooms, three departments and 49 beds, a private department for seven beds, intensive care unit for 11 beds and, when required, allows accommodating pediatric patients. It also includes an outpatient clinic with special consulting and research laboratories.

Every year, the clinic treats approximately 2,900 patients in the hospital setting and 3,200 patients in the outpatient setting. The number of surgical interventions in 2008 exceeded 2,000.
