Department of Ophthalmology has changed significantly in recent years. Using the latest technology, the clinic is able to collect research results and to compare them during treatment. The eyes photos are taken by a small, skilled and experienced team and provided to the clinic physicians in digital form. Thus, based on the new results, the physician can not the minor changes and interpret them. The optical coherence technology is contactless imaging technology which, on the basis of different time of the laser beam penetration, allows probing and visualizing the structures located one behind the other. This principle is similar to the technology of ultrasound, but with a significantly higher resolution for the main layers in ophthalmology. The recent analyzing apparatuses, in accordance with the spectral domain standard, thereby allows making more accurate images, in order to identify the eventual lesions more accurately.

The clinic is ready to serve the patients round the clock in emergency ophthalmological situations. In less serious cases, the clinic uses the services of emergency medical service of the health insurance fund. When required, it issues a referral to the clinic. Needless to say, in the case of accidents, eye injury, acute vision loss and in situations perceived by the patient as acute and threatening, the clinic, certainly, is available to patients.
