Patients rooms

The single and shared rooms in the St. Anna Hospital in Herne have as standard set of furniture per patient including a bed, a lockable cabinet and a bedside stand. There is also a shower in each room. After a complete renovation in A wing departments where the works have been finished, all rooms have the latest amenities, the floor length window leads to the balcony with an armchair, and there are also new and spacious bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms; all you need to do is to leave your request at the reception. By using the headphones connected to the bed you can listen to four radio stations and 30 television programmes. The telephones in the rooms are unlocked. Calls within the hospital and throughout Germany are free of charge.
The hospital offers single and double rooms. If you choose a single room, an accompanying person will be able to stay with you. A double room is shared with a patient of the same gender.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

Meals and Menus

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.

Christian priests are available for the patients at any time. Representatives of other religions may be requested at any time.

Accompanying person

Your companion may stay with you in your room or at a hotel of your choice during the fixed program.
