Every year around 800 children first see the light of day in Klinik St. Anna thanks to the personal and professional support provided by the obstetricians and midwives. Experienced nursing staff looks after the well-being of the new family, providing individual care and conselling.
A team of specialists from the Klinik St. Anna supports you during pregnancy, giving birth and afterwards with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and individual advice.
The foundation of today’s clinic was laid nearly 100 years ago by the Community of St. Anna Sisters in Lucerne with the Maternité building. The Klinik St. Anna thus acknowledges its past while simultaneously investing in its future.

As a private hospital, the St. Anna Klinik focuses on the medical areas, in which it has the highest competence and quality.
The clinic offers its patients a selected range of medical diagnostics with future-oriented technology, surgical and conventional treatments and modern therapies. About 10,000 inpatients and 70,000 outpatients benefit annually from those medical offers. In the Maternité come annually around 800 babies into the world.
The core areas of the clinic, such as musculoskeletal system, gynecology, neurology and neurosurgery, vascular diseases, pulmonary and respiratory diseases, pain therapy will be expanded in the near future to innovative competence centers. These medical focuses will be complemented by other surgical and internal medicine disciplines. In the competence centers and institutes experts from all fields work in close cooperation. This enables the best use of expertise and an above-average skills, which can be engaged in the top medical care for the benefit of the patients.
Accommodation in hospital
The kid rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kid bathroom includes both a toilet and a shower. All rooms offer functional beds with orthopaedic mattresses ensuring unsurpassed support for overall body during sleep. There are bedside stands with pull-out tables, lockers and safe boxes in each room. It is also possible to access the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet so that kids always keep in touch with their parents and other family members. There is also a TV in each room.
You can opt for a single or a double room. An accompanying person may stay with the kid in the room. A double room is shared with another patient.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.
Meals and Menus
The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.

Christian priests are available for the patients at any time. Representatives of other religions may be requested at any time.
Your companion may stay with you in your room or at a hotel of your choice during the fixed program.
You may stay at the hotel during the outpatient program. Our employees will support you for selecting the best option.
