Orthopedics treats children and adolescents with chronic diseases of the skeleton and the supporting structures as well as acute inflammatory or accident-related damage. All patients are age specific housed on wards where mostly children and adolescents with movement disorders are treated. The goal of rehabilitation is that occurring malfunctions can be eliminated or reduced by the chronic or acute diseases.
