Patients rooms
The patients of the HELIOS Clinic Geesthacht live in cozy and comfortable rooms. Each patient room has a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The furnishing of a standard patient room includes a functional bed with a comfortable orthopedic mattress, a bedside table, a wardrobe, a TV. In addition, it is possible to access the Internet from a laptop, smartphone or tablet, so that children always stay in touch with their parents and relatives. The clinic also provides enhanced-comfort patient rooms.
Meals and Menus
The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.

Location
Geesthacht is a city in Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. The city is located on the right bank of the Elbe River, near Hamburg. Thanks to the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, the city is one of the largest research centers in northern Germany.
Geesthacht impresses with its beautiful natural landscapes. On the one side, the city is adorned with the banks of the Elbe with floodplain forests and wide landscapes, and on the other one, it has unique internal dunes with sandy meadows.
The most interesting sights of the city are the Besenhorster Sandberge und Elbsandwiesen Nature Reserve and the Geesthacht Museum. The guests of the city will also have a unique opportunity to take a ride on the historic steam locomotive called "Carolina" and experience the atmosphere of bygone times.
