The primary goal of the department's rehabilitation therapists is to improve the functions of the affected spinal joints or segments, improve the patient's mobility and, accordingly, ensure his maximum independence. An important component of successful rehabilitation is the determination of specific goals, which must be achieved during the treatment process, taking into account the rehabilitation potential of the patient. The key role is given to the goals related to professional activities and human health. The medical team consists of a highly-specialized orthopedist, physiotherapist, ergotherapist, a specialist in the field of medical profession-oriented rehabilitation and a psychologist. When providing rehabilitation, the specialists use only the most modern and the most effective therapeutic techniques, which have received wide recognition in countries with developed medicine. The required set of rehabilitation measures and the intensity of training are determined for each patient individually, taking into account the current clinical protocols. An important component of the rehabilitation treatment is a special training for patients, during which they learn about the specifics of their disease, further steps to maintain and consolidate the results of rehabilitation upon their homecoming.
