Gynecology:Increased vaginal — Perineoplasty and intimate plastic. Treatment abroad
As a rule, the vagina is expanded after childbirth due to the tissue trauma or hormonal changes, which occurred in the woman's body. The defect is corrected by resection of excessive body tissue (colporrhaphy). The surgery is combined with perineum reconstruction, when required.
Preparation for the procedure begins with consultation of an obstetrician-gynecologist. The physician conducts a gynecological examination, appoints a set of laboratory tests and echocardiography. On the eve of surgery, the woman talks to the anesthesiologist, which specifies the general state of health.
The intervention is performed under epidural or general anesthesia. First, the surgeon excises the fragments of tissue on the front (or rear) wall of the vagina, and then pulls the edges of the wound together and puts on the intradermal sutures. Then the crotch zone is adjusted, the postpartum scars are removes, and the muscle integrity is restore. The duration of manipulations is not more than an hour.
After surgery, the patient remains in the hospital under supervision of medical professionals. The operated area is treated with antiseptics daily. To reduce pain, the analgesics are prescribed. When the patient feels good, she is discharged on day 8. Before that, the woman is re-examined by the gynecologist, who provides recommendations for further recovery.Hide
