Plastic surgery:Corrective Surgery of the Clitoris for s Anorgasmia
For most women, the clitoris is the main erogenous zone, so its hiding under the enlarged prepuce ("hood") can inhibit orgasm. Hood hypertrophy can be both innate and acquired (for example, developed after birth). In both cases, the defect correction is made in the same way, by releasing the organ from excessive skin folds.
The surgery is performed after medical examination, including:
- consultation of an obstetrician-gynecologist,
- laboratory tests (for urogenital infections, HIV, hepatitis etc.)
The day before the intimate cosmetic surgery, the patient talks to an anesthesiologist and discusses the technique of anesthesia.
The intervention lasts about 40 minutes. During the procedure, the surgeon detaches the foreskin and excises its excessive part, thereby increasing the clitoris openness. In some cases, surgery is performed with a laser, which contributes to more rapid healing of tissues.
After the procedure, the woman is taken to the ward where she stays under supervision of medical staff. For several days, swelling and bruising are preserved in the operated intimate area. There may be pain intensified when walking. To remove the adverse symptoms, the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents are prescribed.
In the absence of complications, the patient is discharged on day 6. Over the next 2 to 3 weeks, the patient should refrain from physical exercises and sexual contact.Hide
