The Bogenhausen Clinic has over 1,000 beds and is one of the largest clinics in Munich. The Clinic, located in a very beautiful place and established in 1984, annually provides a competent medical care to about 36,000 patients. 

The Clinic specializes in the treatment of diseases of heart/blood circulation, respiratory tracts and lungs, organs of the digestive system, musculoskeletal system, hormonal disorders, metabolism as well as diseases of the nervous system. Cancer patients are treated in the private certified Cancer Center (Dr. med. Martin Fuchs) with the Center for Bowel, Pancreatic and Lung Cancer, which is part of it. 

The Clinic includes 16 medical departments, four inpatient departments and the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology and Nuclear Medicine. There work highly professional doctors with a long experience and expert knowledge. Therefore, here should be mentioned Prof. Dr. med. Walter Eichinger (Cardiac Surgery), Prof. Dr. med. Christianto Lumenta (Neurosurgery), Dr. med. Martin Fuchs (Oncology). Moreover, the range of medical services of the Bogenhausen Clinic is completed by the certified Stroke Unit and the Chest Pain Unit as well as the Burn Center.


Location of hospital
