The Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology offers patients maximum medical care. Department of Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology
The Department of Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology aims at achieving the best possible quality in patient care, research and student teaching. The Clinic for gynecology, mammalogy and gynecological oncology offers the full range of gynecological operations, which has the focus on the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors. A Breast Center and a Gynecologic Cancer Center settled at the women’s clinic in cooperation with other university disciplines.
Department of Obstetrics and Prenatal Medicine
The obstetricians extend the services with an innovative, personal care concept. For healthy pregnant women, it is possible to be taken care of by a qualified midwife team during pregnancy, under the delivery and after delivery. Close cooperation also exist with the pediatric surgery, pediatric, children nephrology, gynecology and other related departments. The psychosocial countseling is always available when needed.

Department of Neurology
The Department of Neurology provides a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care on the entire field of neurology. Focuses are neurodegenerative diseases, brain tumors, muscle diseases, cerebrovascular diseases and multiple sclerosis. There is a stroke unit at the Neurology Clinic, which is used for emergency treatment of stroke.

The general duties of the clinic include inpatient and outpatient medical care in the fields of internal medicine with a focus on oncology, hematology, stem cell biology and transplantation, internal intensive care, infectious disease, rheumatology and tumor immunology and immunological therapies.
Department of Neurosurgery
The Neurosurgery Clinic is one of the few neurosurgical centers in Germany, which offers the entire spectrum of modern neurosurgery at the highest level. Accordingly, the clinic is with its annually more than 2600 surgeries and 3000 inpatients the largest neurosurgery clinic in Germany, so that the specialists at the clinic often have enough profound personal experience.

Department of Otolaryngology
The Department of Otolaryngology offers a very broad range of services such as diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation after head and neck diseases. Otolaryngology deals with conditions of the sense organs that are responsible for taste, smell, perception, balance and hearing. The clinic also deals with cranial nerve areas: auditory and vestibular nerves, facial nerve, hypoglossal nerve and vagus nerve (visceral nerve).
