The department for internal medicine with a focus on gastroenterology, hepatology, nephrology, infectious diseases and diabetology offers all diagnosis and treatment of all internal diseases with following priorities: liver disease, biliary tract diseases, malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, kidney disease, infectious diseases, endocrine and metabolic diseases, and transplant surgery of kidney, pancreas and liver.

Medical focus of gastroenterology and hepatology:

conservative and endoscopic diagnosis and therapy for diseases of the entire gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, liver and biliary system. Gastroenterological function diagnosis and diagnosis and treatment of portal hypertension. Treatment of inflammatory liver disease including hepatitis B and C and so on.

Medical focus of nephrology:

diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease, renal hypertension, nephrolithiasis, renal osteopathy and balance disorders of fluid, electrolyte and acid-base etc.

Medical focus of endocrinology and diabetology:

diagnosis and treatment of hormonal and metabolic diseases, the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2, gestational diabetes, outpatient treatment of diabetic foot.

Medical focus of immunology and infectious diseases:

diagnosis and treatment of HIV and AIDS, aftercare of tuberculosis.

Patients rooms

The kid rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kid bathroom includes both a toilet and a shower. All rooms offer functional beds with orthopaedic mattresses ensuring unsurpassed support for overall body during sleep. There are bedside stands with pull-out tables, lockers and safe boxes in each room. It is also possible to access the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet so that kids always keep in touch with their parents and other family members. There is also a TV in each room.
You can opt for a single or a double room. An accompanying person may stay with the kid in the room. A double room is shared with another patient.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

Meals and Menus

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
