The Clinic of Internal Medicine has a special focus on Cardiology, Angiology and Pneumology and related intensive medical care. As part of the clinical priorities patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system, of lung and bronchial system and of veins and arteries can be treated both as inpatient and outpatient.

Special emphasizes within the clinic are diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, cardiac arrhythmias, congenital and acquired heart defects, inflammatory heart disease and vascular diseases of the heart. Within the pulmonary section the full range of diagnosis and therapies in lung diseases is offered, such as lung function test, special medical treatment for obstructive airway diseases, chemotherapy for bronchial carcinoma and interventional procedures in the bronchial system (stent, laser). The angiological department dedicates to modern diagnosis of venous and arterial disease. For all angiological syndromes the clinic offers innovative medical service and interventional therapeutic procedures.

Bonn University Clinic is a multidisciplinary health care institution which is one of the largest in Germany. The clinic provides treatment both for patients from Germany, and for foreign ones. Patients rooms

The kid rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kid bathroom includes both a toilet and a shower. All rooms offer functional beds with orthopaedic mattresses ensuring unsurpassed support for overall body during sleep. There are bedside stands with pull-out tables, lockers and safe boxes in each room. It is also possible to access the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet so that kids always keep in touch with their parents and other family members. There is also a TV in each room.
You can opt for a single or a double room. An accompanying person may stay with the kid in the room. A double room is shared with another patient.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

Meals and Menus

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
