Department of General, Abdominal and Tumor Surgery
The Department of General, Abdominal and Tumor Surgery deals with the surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases. The focus is on surgery to treat cancer of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, gallbladder, pancreatic and thyroid cancer. The range of services also covers benign tumors, such as inguinal or incisional hernias, inflammatory processes in the intestine, thyroid and morbid obesity. Another priority is organ transplantation, for example, liver, pancreas and kidney transplantations.
Department of Ophthalmology
