Department of Reproductive Medicine and Andrology at the University Hospital of Halle (Saale) is a member of the German Society for Reproductive Medicine and the German Society of Andrology. This is the first independent institution in which the patients with unfulfilled desire to have children, hormonal and sexual disorders, including the erectile dysfunction, are assisted by a team of female doctors (gynecological, endocrine, and reproductive medicine) and a team of male doctors (andrology). Center for Reproductive Medicine and Andrology provides an opportunity to freeze the fertility germ cells to be used in the future to have children in the case of diseases or during treatment threatening the fertility.

The medical services offered by this center are diagnostics and treatment of inflammatory diseases of female pelvic organs; diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the male genital organs; diagnostics and treatment of non-inflammatory diseases of the female genital tract; diagnostics and treatment of the other diseases of the urogenital system; endoscopic surgeries; gynecological endocrinology; reproductive medicine; special consultations; a special consultation on andrology (fertility disorders, sexual dysfunction, including erectile and ejaculatory function disorders, disorders of sex hormones, including hypogonadism, senescence, contraception); consultation on planning of children (couple countseling).
