The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of Würzburg under the direction of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Alexander Kübler is located in the very center of the old town of Würzburg, in modern, newly constructed buildings. The Department offers patients the full range of services from outpatient dental surgery up to inpatient maxillofacial surgery. The University Hospital of Würzburg provides all dental surgical procedures ranging from a simple tooth removal to dental implantation. 

The Department at the University Hospital of Würzburg has at its command all the latest diagnostic and treatment methods, such as digital radiography, digital volume tomography (DVT), ultrasound or laser surgery. Consisting of doctors, nurses, assistants, dental technicians and administrative staff, the team of the Department under the direction of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Alexander Kübler, provides patient care that corresponds to the latest scientific advances. 

The treatment of oral cancer, as well as head and neck tumors makes up a special focus of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery. The Department under the direction of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Alexander Kübler is certified by the German Cancer Society as the Head and Neck Cancer Center and is part of the Comprehensive Cancer Center of East Franconia (CCC). This Center was founded at the University Hospital of Würzburg. The medical team of the Department annually treats over 100 patients with oral cancer and thus ranks among the largest Oral Cancer Centers in German-speaking countries.
