The Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at the University Hospital of Würzburg under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Hubert Kübler is part of the infrastructure of the maximum care clinic. With the state-of-the-art medical equipment, the Department covers the entire spectrum of conservative and surgical urology, as well as pediatric urology. Its priority is uro-oncology, reconstructive urology, gynecological urology, kidney transplants, laparoscopy and robotic surgery (DaVinci®). 

The Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at the University Hospital of Würzburg has three operating rooms, an outpatient clinic, which provides common and many special consultations, a separate intensive care unit with continuous monitoring, which is shared with the Section of Nephrology, dialysis, its private X-ray unit and a portable laboratory (Point-of-Care Laboratory) for the determination of tumor markers.
