The Department of Oral Surgery, Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery is located at the heart of the old town of Würzburg, in the modern, newly built premises. The department offers its patients a full range of treatments, from outpatient dental surgery to the "large" inpatient and maxillofacial surgery. The clinic conducts all dental surgical procedures of dental treatment, ranging from simple removal of the tooth to the tooth implant surgery. The department uses the latest diagnostic and treatment methods, such as digital radiography, digital volumetric tomography (CT), ultrasound or laser surgery.

The team, consisting of doctors, nurses, assistant dentist, assistants, dental technicians and administrative staff, will always treat the patient accordingly the current level of science. Upon treatment using the modern high-tech medicine at the clinic, the patient as a person with his/her complaints and problems is always in the focus.

About hospital

University Hospital Wurzburg includes 19 departments with outpatient clinics, three independent clinics and four clinical institutions. It also comprises four experimentally-oriented institutes, or departments. The hospital is ranked 8th in the top list of the best medical institutions recommended by FOCUS in 2016.

Each year, approximately 57,000 patients receive qualified treatment in the hospital, and approximately 235,000 patients undergo outpatient treatment. The number of beds is 1430. Patients rooms

The kid rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kid bathroom includes both a toilet and a shower. All rooms offer functional beds with orthopaedic mattresses ensuring unsurpassed support for overall body during sleep. There are bedside stands with pull-out tables, lockers and safe boxes in each room. It is also possible to access the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet so that kids always keep in touch with their parents and other family members. There is also a TV in each room.
You can opt for a single or a double room. An accompanying person may stay with the kid in the room. A double room is shared with another patient.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

Meals and Menus

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
