The clinic of hematology, hemostasis, oncology and stem cell transplantation is a leading therapeutic clinic of the Medical Institute of Hannover for patients with solid tumor and systemic diseases, with other partially benign diseases of the hematopoietic system, as well as bleeding disorders. In view of the demographic development and medical progress, the importance of this trend is increasing, so the department expanded in recent years, respectively. The clinic has a large team of doctors, psychologists, scientists and patient care staff, as well as experts of the medical and technical service and documentation department, who are working closely in all possible directions. The aim is to provide optimal care at the highest medical level for all patients with serious, often life-threatening diseases. To do this, the clinic offers a full range of various services in this area.

This includes the continuous close interdisciplinary cooperation with the other diagnostic and therapeutic areas, as well as family doctors and professionals. A team of doctors is working closely with experts in clinical and basic research, and is continuously striving to improve the treatment outcomes to cure as many patients as possible and ensure the long life in good quality to them. Patients rooms

The kid rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kid bathroom includes both a toilet and a shower. All rooms offer functional beds with orthopaedic mattresses ensuring unsurpassed support for overall body during sleep. There are bedside stands with pull-out tables, lockers and safe boxes in each room. It is also possible to access the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet so that kids always keep in touch with their parents and other family members. There is also a TV in each room.
You can opt for a single or a double room. An accompanying person may stay with the kid in the room. A double room is shared with another patient.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

Meals and Menus

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
