About the Department of Infectology at Clinic de Genolier Genolier
The Department of Infectology at the Clinic de Genolier Genolier offers comprehensive medical services to patients with viral, bacterial and fungal infections, as well as parasitic infestations. In addition, the department's specialists admit patients with infections caused by immunodeficiencies, cancers, patients with nosocomial infections, HIV and new infectious diseases, for example, H1N1 virus. The establishment of a diagnosis is preceded by the comprehensive diagnostics. The treatment is based on pharmacotherapy using drugs of the latest generation. The department is headed by Dr. med. Nicola Leggieri.
The department's doctors work on an inpatient basis, and also admit patients outpatiently. Once the diagnosis has been established, the most effective drugs for the treatment of infectious disease will be individually selected. Depending on the specific infection and the clinical case of the patient, the doctors use antibiotics, antiviral, antifungal, anthelmintic drugs and others.
