Dr. Yana Dmytryshyn

Dr. Yana Dmytryshyn is a 3d year surgery resident, medical consultant, and copywriter with strong experience in combining clinical practice, scientific research, and creating medical content. 

She received her medical education at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science at the University of People, USA.

Working as a surgery resident helps Dr.Dmytryshyn to actively improve her technical skills, clinical thinking, and become more patient-oriented. It gives an amazing opportunity to develop strong foundations in diagnostics, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based care. With the emphasis on general and emergency surgery, she is gaining hands-on experience in managing surgical cases with precision and empathy.

In parallel with her clinical work, Dr. Dmytryshyn also worked as a medical consultant, helping with educational projects and medical information databases. Scientific research and involvement in international conferences gave her opportunities to expand her knowledge and be up to date with new developments in health science and how to apply them to her day-to-day practice. She also participated in programs like “Health and Migration” Summer School in Ghent, Belgium, and the Rostock Summer Medical School in Germany, which made her global outlook wider, and she made some important international connections.

Working as a copywriter gave Dr. Dmytryshyn experience in making complex medical concepts simpler for people and helping them understand their disease and ways to deal with it. She aims to always improve patient outcomes and deepen her knowledge of evidence-based medicine to provide the best care and most innovative solutions.
