In 1993, Dr. Olivier Bauquis received his Doctoral Degree at the University of Geneva, after which in 1998 he began his professional career in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Lausanne University Hospital. He also gained extensive experience in the treatment of burns here. The specialist gained experience in flap surgery at the Bordeaux University Hospital in France. In 2001, Dr. Bauquis began his work at the Clinique de la Longeraie in Lausanne and had his board certification in Hand Surgery, Swiss Medical Association (FMH). In 2003, the surgeon continued his clinical practice as the Head of the department at the Lausanne University Hospital (until 2011), and nowadays he is Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne. In 2005, Dr. Bauquis had his board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the European standard. In 2007, the surgeon founded the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Hirslanden Clinic Bois-Cerf Lausanne. Dr. Olivier Bauquis is a member of the Medical Society of Canton de Vaud, Swiss Society of Hand Surgery and the Plastic Surgery Association of the Canton de Vaud.
