The Department of Adult and Pediatric Dentistry at the Hospitadent Dental Clinic Istanbul offers offers the full range of services in its field of competence. The department admits not only adults, but also young patients for treatment. The most popular dental procedures are the placement of dental implants, porcelain and laminate veneers, root canal treatment and teeth whitening. If necessary, the doctors use Digital Smile Design, which simulates the expected result, namely patient's future smile, with maximum accuracy. To avoid painful sensations, high-quality anesthesia is applied, while for children the dentists use sedation with low dosages of drugs. The department is headed by Dr. med. Dr. dent. Ebru Hattatoglu.

The department has at its disposal the high-tech X-ray systems for the diagnostics of dental problems. It has modern dental rooms. All of them are equipped with the cutting-edge dental chairs, which also have massage options. During a particular procedure, the patient is offered to listen to music of his own choice. One of the most demanded procedures in the department is the placement of dental implants. They allow the doctor to fully replace the missing tooth. The dental implants look and feel like natural teeth, as well naturally participate in the chewing process. The first step in the procedure is to insert a body (an artificial root) into the gum. This procedure takes about 10 minutes and is carried out under local anesthesia. Then an abutment is attached to the body – a piece that serves as a connection between the root and the crown. After that, the implant is fused in the gum for 3-4 months. After this time, the dentist will set a custom made crown.
