The Department of Pediatric Cardiology at the University Hospital Charite is part of the Otto-Heubner-Center for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The department is headed by Prof. Dr. med. Felix Berger. Located at the Campus Virchow-Klinikum, the department cooperates with other Charité departments and mainly deals with the treatment of patients suffering from tachycardia.
The department has a long experience in the treatment of congenital and acquired heart diseases, in particular, arrhythmia. Approximately 1,500 inpatients and 2,500 outpatients undergo treatment in the department every year.
