About the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Hand Surgery at Beta Clinic Bonn
According to the reputable Focus magazine, the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Hand Surgery at the Beta Clinic Bonn ranks among the best medical facilities in Germany in the areas of its specialization!
The task of the department's surgeons is to improve the appearance of patients with the help of advanced surgical techniques. The specialists perform reconstructive plastic surgery after severe injuries, tumor resection surgery, severe infectious diseases, and congenital malformations. The department's competence also includes the correction of the appearance of patients without any clinical indications, at their own request. Face and neck lift, nose reshaping, eyelid lift, breast augmentation, breast lift, and liposuction are especially popular in aesthetic plastic surgery. The department also performs modern laser aesthetic procedures and anti-aging procedures, including injections of fillers, hyaluronic acid, and autologous adipose tissue. The department's surgical options are complemented by the treatment of hand diseases and injuries. Each patient has an individual consultation with a plastic surgeon, who offers the possible options for plastic surgery, taking into account all the patient's wishes and needs. The department's operating rooms are fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment, which makes it possible to perform almost all interventions using modern low-traumatic techniques. In addition, advanced monitoring systems are available in operating rooms, ensuring the highest safety of surgical interventions. The specialists at the medical facility also pay due attention to the patient's general condition and comfort after surgery.
The department is headed by Dr. med. Daniel Sattler, who is a highly competent plastic surgeon with long clinical experience. The specialist regularly performs plastic surgical procedures of varying complexity and has the professional skills to provide effective medical care to patients and make their dream appearance wishes come true.
Treatment for patients begins with an initial consultation with a plastic surgeon. The expert devotes enough time to studying the problems and wishes of patients and talks about the benefits and possible complications of a specific surgical intervention. A patient then undergoes comprehensive diagnostics, including laboratory and imaging tests. If the patient needs to undergo a complex reconstructive or aesthetic operation, especially on the face, the department's specialists perform computer simulations of the expected results of the surgical procedure. The patient can thus assess his new appearance even before the start of the operation and, if necessary, ask the surgeon to make changes to the plan.
In the field of reconstructive plastic surgery, a large number of surgical procedures are performed to restore the aesthetic appearance of the face or body after tumor resection surgery, injuries, and congenital malformations. At the same time, it is important for the specialists not only to restore the attractive appearance of this or that part of the face or body, but also to ensure its normal function. For example, if a patient has surgery to resect a facial tumor, he will need reconstructive plastic surgery using skin grafts. When performing such interventions, the department’s surgeons strive to completely close the skin defect, while taking into account the formation of natural lines of facial skin tension.
Aesthetic plastic surgery is offered for patients who consider some part of their face or body unattractive and want to correct this aesthetic defect in order to get rid of complexes. Facial aesthetic procedures include face, neck, and eyelid lifts and rhinoplasty (nose reshaping). People who want to get rid of wrinkles and prolong their youth most often undergo a facelift and neck lift. Rhinoplasty is especially popular in the department. Many people are dissatisfied with the shape of their nose that nature has given them, so they are happy to get rid of the problem of a large or snub nose with the help of modern plastic surgery options. In addition, the beauty industry dictates its own trends in appearance, so many people decide to undergo plastic surgery to achieve the reference appearance of our time.
The department's aesthetic plastic surgeons also successfully perform operations to repair body defects. These include breast augmentation and lift, abdominoplasty, buttock augmentation or reduction, and liposuction. In this field, breast augmentation takes the lead in the frequency of operations. Big breasts are the dream of many women all over the world. Not every woman has such a luxury by nature, so more and more women decide on plastic surgery. Breast augmentation can be performed in the department not only with the help of implants but also with the use of autologous adipose tissue (the patient's own adipose tissue). The last option allows women to achieve a beautiful breast shape that looks as natural as possible.
The department's therapeutic options include professional services in hand surgery. The department's specialists treat hand diseases, traumatic injuries, and tumors. Whenever possible, the surgeons use only conservative treatments. For example, carpal tunnel syndrome responds well to blocks and splinting, but in complex cases, only surgery (decompression) can provide patients with the best result. Congenital malformations of the hand also often require surgical repair. The department's doctors use modern microsurgical techniques in their work.
