The Clinic Valmont Montreux is a progressive highly specialized medical facility, which offers top-class services in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. The clinic was founded in 1905 by the famous Dr. Henri-Auguste Widmer. The clinic earned popularity and worldwide recognition quite quickly. This was facilitated by the use of the very latest treatment methods, such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, light therapy, air baths, etc. An important role in the success of clinical practice is played by the advantageous location of the medical complex, which is surrounded by the Alps and Lake Geneva. Clean mountain air and pristine nature contribute to relaxation and effective treatment.
The main specialization of the clinic is the implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation measures for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and cancers of the central nervous system. The clinic employs leading doctors from various medical specialties, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nutritionists, neuropsychologists and other experts. The specialists work hand in hand for the benefit of their patients, providing them with individualized treatment in accordance with the current clinical protocols of rehabilitation medicine.

Location
Montreux is a picturesque resort in southern Switzerland. It is often called the Swiss Riviera. On the one side, the town is surrounded by the Alps, while the other side houses Lake Geneva, so it can be proud of the beautiful natural landscapes. In addition, Montreux is famous for its vibrant festivals. One of the most popular festivals is the Jazz Festival, which has been held here since 1967 and takes place every year in early July.
Since Montreux has a reputation as a resort town, it is not surprising that many interesting sights are concentrated here. The promenade along the picturesque coast of Lake Geneva is one of the most popular excursions among tourists. During a short walk one can see almost all the charms of Montreux. The guests of the town can walk along the beautifully equipped promenade with many benches, well-groomed flower beds and cozy cafes. The exhibitions of famous sculptors and artists are also often held on the promenade.
An attractive place for tourists is Queen Studio Experience. It is located 50 meters from the Freddie Mercury monument in Montreux, in a former recording studio that was built in 1979. The museum workers left everything here unchanged: clothes, computers, musical instruments and notebooks with notes, so that the guests of the museum could immerse in the atmosphere, in which legendary musicians created their hits. The highlight of the museum is the ability to use mixing console for creating new compositions by adjusting the voice, bass and percussion instruments. The museum is located in the same building as the world-famous Montreux Casino.
Those who want to see the most beautiful places in Switzerland not only in Montreux, but also outside it, can go on a short trip along the famous railway route GoldenPass Line (191 km). Two trains run along this railway – a modern one with panoramic windows and a retro-style train with the atmosphere of the 19th century (old sofas, richly decorated tables and chairs with carved backs). During the trip, tourists can see amazing landscapes with mountain lakes and waterfalls, picturesque villages and green meadows.
