Great importance is also attached to cancer screening, as the patient has a high chance of recovery if a malignant tumor is detected in time. Screening includes clinical examination and testing with the help of artificial intelligence devices that allow doctors to analyze the structure of moles, birthmarks, and pigmented areas of the skin with suspicious changes. The diagnostic examination is absolutely painless. If benign or malignant skin tumors are detected, surgical removal is usually required. To remove small tumors, the department's specialists often use modern minimally invasive methods, such as laser technologies or cryotherapy. During skin tumor resection surgery, the department's dermatologists strive not only to completely remove the tumor, but also to ensure optimal aesthetic outcomes, especially when the tumor is localized on the face or neck. Special subcutaneous suturing techniques are used to minimize the risk of visible scarring. All skin tumor removal procedures are performed under local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort and safety during the intervention.
