The Department of Dialysis Shunt Surgery at the DKD HELIOS Clinic Wiesbaden offers all conservative and interventional treatments, including central venous catheterization. The department deals with the surgical formation of shunts for hemodialysis, as well as specializes in open surgical and endoscopic treatment of vascular diseases, conservative treatment of arterial diseases, diagnostics and treatment of venous diseases and their complications. For example, the Chief Physician of the department, Professor Krönung, is an advanced expert in dialysis shunt surgery with 40 years of experience.
