The Department of Adult and Pediatric Diagnostics at the Gaziosmanpasa Hospital of Yeniyuzyil University offers comprehensive examinations for the prevention or early detection of diseases of all organs and systems. Early cancer diagnostics is of particular importance. It allows to carry out the timely therapy and save the patient's life. In addition, a special focus is on the early diagnostics and appropriate treatment of hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes mellitus, which are the main cause of serious lesions of the brain, heart, kidneys and other vital organs. The department is headed by Prof. Dr. med. Şeref Kamil Basmacıoğlu.
The department specializes in standard diagnostic programs, which cover all basic examinations for the identification of a particular disease. Also, if desired, it is possible to have a VIP package of diagnostic services with in-depth clinical examinations available in a specific medical field. In addition, if the patients do not have specific complaints, they may choose general therapeutic prevention programs.
