The Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Hospital Neuwerk Moenchengladbach offers the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with diseases of the internal organs. The department is distinguished by exceptional experience in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and cancers of internal organs. The ultramodern infrastructure, excellent technical equipment, as well as the high competence of the department's doctors form a solid basis for the effective restoration of the health of patients with various diseases, including with especially complex clinical cases. It should be noted that the primary area of the department's specialization is the provision of medical care to patients with tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and hematopoietic systems. For this purpose, all modern diagnostic procedures and treatment methods are available here. An interdisciplinary approach plays an important role in the treatment of cancers. The department regularly holds interdisciplinary tumor boards with the participation of therapists, hematologists, oncologists, surgeons, radiation therapists and other highly-specialized experts. The patient rooms of the Hospital Neuwerk Moenchengladbach are equipped in accordance with German standards. The patient room includes a shower and a toilet. The beds are equipped with comfortable orthopedic mattresses. The bedside table can be easily turned into a table. The room also includes a table and chairs for receiving visitors. In addition, the room contains a TV, and the Internet is available on request. You can choose a single or double room. Your accompanying person can stay in the single room with you. The double room is shared with another patient of the same gender.
