        About the Department of Nephrology at Samsung Medical Center Seoul

        The Department of Nephrology at the Samsung Medical Center offers the full range of services in this field. The department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various inflammatory, infectious and metabolic diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract. The medical team of the department, which has a long clinical experience and profound professional knowledge, provides an accurate diagnosis and an effective treatment of these diseases, as well as constantly introduces new therapies. The department is headed by Prof. Dr. med.
        Oh Ha Young.

        Renal replacement therapy is provided in the modern Dialysis Unit. The intensive care unit actively conducts continuous renal replacement therapy in patients with terminal stages of kidney failure. In addition, the department operates the Kidney Transplant Center that meets the highest international standards. The specialists from the Departments of Nephrology, Transplant Surgery, Therapy and Laboratory Medicine work for the benefit of patients here.
