The Department of Internal Medicine IV and V at the University Hospital Giessen under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. Friedrich Grimminger covers general internal medicine, as well as several specialized focuses. You can receive a wide range of advanced innovative treatment options, especially in the following focuses: cancer of the internals (internal oncology), blood cancer (hematology), as well as symptomatic treatment of progressive incurable diseases (palliative care).
