The main objective of the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Immunology at the University Hospital Marburg under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Neubauer is to provide a comprehensive treatment to patients suffering from cancers within the Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Department is highly competent in the diagnosis and treatment of leukemia, molecular biology of malignant tumors with a focus placed on myeloid leukemia and gastrointestinal lymphomas. 

In addition to the treatment of malignant lymphomas (including gastrointestinal lymphomas), the Department of Oncology at the University Hospital Marburg under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Neubauer also pays particular attention to the treatment of solid tumors, including testicular, lung, bronchial cancer, as well as gastrointestinal tumors, including pancreatic cancer. 

The University Hospital Marburg also treats all disorders of the hematopoietic system and other oncological diseases, as well as conditions caused by the immune system. In addition, the Department provides a specialized consultation for patients interested in bone marrow and stem cell transplant.
