According to the Focus magazine, the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Disorders at the Charite University Hospital Berlin ranks among the top German medical facilities specializing in diabetes mellitus treatment!
The department offers all modern diagnostic and therapeutic services in these medical fields. Of particular interest is the treatment of overweight and obesity, high blood pressure, type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, metabolic bone diseases, diseases of the pituitary, adrenal glands, etc. An integral part of the department's everyday work is research activities, which helped to implement many innovative treatment methods into clinical practice. The patients of the Charite University Hospital Berlin live in comfortable rooms made of modern design. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and a shower. The standard room furnishing includes an automatically adjustable bed, a bedside table, a wardrobe for storing clothes, a table and chairs for receiving visitors, and a TV. Meals and Menus
