The Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery for Congenital Heart Disease at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf offers the full range of diagnostics, conservative and surgical treatment of heart diseases in children, as well as therapy for congenital heart defects in children and adults. The department is headed by Prof. Dr. med. Rainer Gerhard Kozlik-Feldmann.
The department has state-of-the-art equipment for the diagnostics of cardiac pathologies in children. The patients of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf live in comfortable single and double rooms designed in bright colors. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and a shower. The standard room includes an automatically adjustable bed, a bedside table, a wardrobe, a table and chairs for receiving visitors, a telephone, a radio and a TV. Also, there is Wi-Fi access.
