About the department

The Department of Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University Hospital Heidelberg offers the full range of services in the field of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the ear, nose and throat. The department’s doctors also specialize in surgical interventions in the head and neck. The Chief Physician of the department is Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c.

The department has 3 state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with innovative surgical microscopes, digital endoscopes, a computerized tomographic system that allows for intraoperative CT examinations, and video recording technology.
