A rehabilitation program is developed individually for each child after determining the goals of treatment and the rehabilitation potential of the young patient.
The medical facility first opened its doors to patients in 2019. The clinic has 77 beds and 67 additional beds for parents to stay in the ward with their children. Patients rooms
The patients of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic Kokon Rohrbach-Berg stay in comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities. All patient rooms have a modern design and are decorated in light colors. Each patient room has two beds, so if desired, one parent can stay together with the child. The clinic also offers accommodation in apartments with two separate rooms, so it is possible for a child to live together not only with parents but also with a brother and/or sister during the whole rehabilitation treatment. Each patient room has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The bathroom is designed with the needs of children with physical disabilities in mind.
Meals and Menus
The clinic's young patients are offered delicious and well-balanced meals three times a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lunch and dinner, there are several menus to choose from. If necessary, the child can be provided with an individual menu.
The clinic also has a cozy cafe where children and their parents can take a break from the therapeutic process and enjoy delicious drinks and desserts.

An accompanying person may stay with a child in his or her patient room or at the hotel of their choice during the inpatient program.

Location
Rohrbach-Berg is a beautiful Austrian town nestled among green hills. The town has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for a comfortable vacation away from the hustle and bustle of large metropolitan areas.
The very heart of Rohrbach-Berg is its central square with its old buildings, shops, coffee houses, cafes, and restaurants. Not far from the town center is the main parish church, whose construction dates back to 1700. The church is in Baroque style, and its tower is in late Gothic style. Another interesting architectural monument in Rohrbach-Berg is the town hall. It is a two-storey Renaissance building from the end of the 16th century. The Pilgrimage Church of Maria Trost is definitely worth a visit. It was built in the 17th century and is located on the top of the mountain. Rohrbach-Berg is also home to the beautiful Villa Sinnenreich, which regularly hosts various cultural events and has an interesting exhibition about the five human senses.
