Department of Adult and Pediatric Urology

The department offers the widest range of modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods for accurate detection and treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system in men and boys. The priority focus of the department is the treatment of prostate cancer (certification of the German Cancer Society).
Department of Adult and Pediatric Urology
Over 770 patients with prostate cancer are annually treated in the Department of Urology and Oncourology. Prostatectomy is carried out with the help of the most modern equipment – "da Vinci" robot. The department is part of the Center for Robotic Surgery (ZIRO). The Head Physician of the department, Prof. Dr. med. Patrick Bastian, is a member of the Working Group on Urologic Oncology, as well as the European and American Urological Associations.
