The University Hospital Dusseldorf (UHD) is located on the south of the capital of the land - Dusseldorf. The main objectives of the Hospital include treatment, research and teaching. The hospital consists of 25 departments, 11 institutes, an outpatient medical center and a dental center. The University Hospital had over 1,298 beds in 2010. Over 44, 000 inpatients and over 151,100 outpatients were treated here. This work was carried out by over 4,600 hospital employees.
