Department of Adult and Pediatric Urology
Over 410 patients with ureteral cancer are annually treated in the Department of Urology and Oncourology. The tumor is successfully removed via transurethral approach, by endoscopic or robotic techniques, as the department is part of the Center for Robotic Surgery (ZIRO). The Head Physician of the department, Prof. Dr. med. Patrick Bastian, is a member of the German Society of Urology, as well as the European and American Urological Associations.
