About the department
The Department of Adult and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Rambam Health Care Campus Haifa offers the full range of modern surgical interventions in this field. The key focuses of clinical practice include reconstructive interventions to correct birth defects, reconstructive interventions after traumatic injuries, breast plastic surgery, removal of benign and malignant skin neoplasms, treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars. The scope of tasks also includes the treatment of burns of varying severity, chronic non-healing wounds. Curriculum vitae
Prof. Yehuda Ullmann is the Chief Physician of the Department of Adult and Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Head of the Burn Unit at the Rambam Health Care Campus Haifa. He is also the Founder and Director of the Aesthetic Plastic Service at Rambam, and is the Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery in the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, of the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).
Dr. Ullman received his doctoral degree from the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He specializes primarily in facial, breast and abdominal aesthetic surgeries, burns, dermatologic surgery and reconstruction of pediatric congenital anomalies, such as cleft lip and palate. His research interests include fat injection, wound healing, trauma and laser procedures.
He has more than 120 original scientific articles, basic and clinical scientific articles (including basic and clinical research) and nine chapters in books. He served as the Chairman of the Israeli Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery from 2009 till 2011. He is currently the Chair of the Physician’s Union at Rambam and Vice Chair of the State Employed Physician’s Organization.

The Rambam Health Care Campus Haifa is the largest and the most progressive hospital in Northern Israel. The patients of the Rambam Health Care Campus Haifa live in comfortable rooms designed in light colors. The standard room includes an automatically adjustable bed, a bedside table, a wardrobe for storing clothes, an armchair and chairs for receiving visitors, a TV, a telephone. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
Meals and Menus
