The Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Frankfurt is part of the Neurology and Neurosurgery Center. The department has comprehensive capabilities for the treatment of neurologic diseases on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. The interdisciplinary range of clinical services is complemented by special treatment methods. The department is headed by Prof. Dr. med. Helmuth Steinmetz.

The Epilepsy Center Rhein-Main offers patients the comprehensive care on all issues concerning epilepsy. Thanks to close cooperation among the Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, including the Units of Neuropediatrics and Obstetrics, Institute of Neuroradiology and many other diagnostic and therapeutic institutions of the university hospital, there is provided highly specialized, high-class and interdisciplinary medical care.
