Rupture of the bladder can develop because of trauma or an accident. It can develop if there was damage to the lower urinary tract. Rupture of the bladder can be very severe and have consequences if at the time of an accident bladder was full with urine. In fact, the more the bladder was filled, the more severe the rupture is. Also, full bladder is more susceptible to rupture probability in case of an accident. Nonetheless, if diagnosed early, rupture of the bladder has excellent recovery rates and this condition can be treated effectively upon immediate surgical intervention.
