This bridge offers a beautiful panorama of all the main attractions of the city – the Neo-Renaissance City Hall with a 112-meter tower, the oldest Stock Exchange in Germany and the remains of Church of St. Nicholas, which was bombed during the war years. Another important architectural structure of Hamburg is the 132-meter-high Michel Tower of the St. Michael's Church, which was not damaged during the war.

The metropolis is home to one of the largest and most important museums in Germany and Europe – the Hamburger Kunsthalle. The museum houses exhibitions of unique paintings from the Gothic times to the present day. In addition, it represents beautiful sculptures, antique coins, medals and many other exhibits.
