Location

Munich is an amazingly beautiful city with a rich history and colorful sights. The city is also a major financial, industrial and cultural center. It should be noted that the city is considered the second in the world in the field of communications and advertising after New York. This is one of the most comfortable and hospitable cities in Germany.

One of the city's main attractions is the New City Hall. This is a majestic building, which simply can not leave anyone indifferent. The building is known for its size and beauty. Opposite the complex, one can see the central square of the city with the shopping street located nearby. The construction of the incredibly big building to replace the Old City Hall began in 1868, and was completed almost 50 years later. There are 400 rooms of different sizes inside. Everyone can get there using travel tickets. The oldest church is St. Peter’s Church, which was built in the 12th century. Its 91 meter high observation deck opens to a magnificent view of Munich.

Special attention should be paid to the museums of Munich. The most famous among them are the Munich Glyptothek, where one of the best collections of sculptures from the Greek and Romanesque eras is presented; the Old Pinakothek, which contains 800 masterpieces of European artists from the Middle Ages till the end of the Rococo period; the New Pinakothek, which stores 550 canvases and 50 sculptures from the period between the Rococo and the Modern; the German Museum and many others. After exploring the attractions, one can either relax in the English Garden, which is now one of the largest and most beautiful in the world, or walk along the shopping streets.

In addition, when staying in Munich, one should definitely visit the famous Bavarian castles, located near the city. Neuschwanstein Castle is a work of art that has no equal. Lost among the crowns of huge trees, high in the mountains, this castle looks like a fairytale.
