Organizational aspects
Before organizing a trip for any kind of examination, you should book a program in one of the German clinics. It is desirable to choose the one that has the optimal price-quality ratio. You need to contact the clinic administration and wait for an invitation. It is necessary to apply for a visa. You will also get a questionnaire, which you should fill in and send back by email.
Going for a check-up in Germany is much easier if the Booking Health company organizes the trip for you. We will help you to choose the clinic, arrange everything with their administration, and provide you with an interpreter and other necessary services. Also, we will help with the translation of your medical documents, as well as interpreting for you during your stay in Germany.
We will help you to receive a visa, book flight tickets, and book a hotel. Our employee will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. The next morning, he will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the clinic, where you will be examined. You will be accompanied by the interpreter, so you can communicate with the doctor and medical staff freely.
Diagnostic procedures
The check-up often begins the day after you arrive in Germany. This is more convenient for the patient and the examination results will be more accurate.
Our employee will take you from the hotel and deliver you to the clinic. You will meet with the doctor there. After a short conversation, you will have some laboratory analyses done. Some of these tests should be performed strictly on an empty stomach! If necessary, other laboratory analyses are carried out. For example, you may be asked to collect a urine sample.
Then, you can have breakfast and go to the instrumental diagnostics. If it is a preventive check-up, then the list of necessary examinations is prepared in advance. These are the diagnostic procedures that are included in the program. In other cases, the doctor can individually compile a list of tests which are necessary for the purposeful diagnostics of a particular disease.
The instrumental diagnostics can take several hours all in all. Doctors begin the examination from visualizing methods – these can be an X-ray, CT, or MRI scan.
Then, you will proceed to the therapeutic stage of examination. You will be examined by a doctor. He will listen to your complaints and assess the objective symptoms. Then, he will refer you to the additional instrumental diagnostics. Some of the tests can be conducted immediately; others will be carried out the next day, particularly if they require certain preparations. The tests can include an ultrasound, ECG, or endoscopy, such as a colonoscopy, fibrogastroduodenoscopy, cystoscopy, etc.
Diagnostic results
You will receive a consultation with the doctor assessing your diagnostics’ result. He will inform you about your state of health. If there are no abnormalities in the analyses, you can receive preventive recommendations and return home.
There are some cases when certain pathological processes are revealed during the diagnostics. In this situation, an additional examination or treatment may be needed. If drug therapy is required, the physician can write a prescription. If you need an extended examination, you can have this immediately in Germany. Diagnostic procedures that are not included in the program are priced additionally.
You will receive documents in German after finishing the diagnostic program. Our interpreter will translate them into any other language you wish. Then, we’ll take you to the airport and you can go home. If you need any treatment after receiving the examination results, you can undergo this in your native country or receive medical services in Germany.
Choose treatment abroad and you will for sure get the best results!
