Department of Urology
The Department of Urology offers the widest range of accurate diagnostics and effective treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system in men. The doctors have in their arsenal many modern therapeutic methods to combat diseases of the prostate gland, testicles and external genital organs, kidneys, bladder, and urinary incontinence in men and women. Of particular interest is the treatment of cancer of the genitourinary system in men. The key to the department’s successful clinical practice is a combination of high professionalism of doctors and the availability of innovative equipment, in particular, systems for conducting a combined fusion transrectal biopsy and MRI, equipment for focal therapy of prostate cancer with high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), etc.
Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
The Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology offers the full range of examinations and treatment methods using ionizing radiation. In addition to conventional X-ray diagnostics, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), the tasks of the department's doctors include minimally invasive interventions. The department is equipped with the state-of-art medical equipment, which allows not only to provide high-precision diagnostics and the highest treatment standards, but also the best possible protection of the patient's body from negative radiation exposure.
Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology
According to the Focus magazine, the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology ranks among the top medical facilities in Germany in the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases! The department offers the full range of diagnostics and treatment of all acute and chronic diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. The main goal of the department’s doctors in the treatment of each patient is the restoration of normal mobility and the elimination of painful sensations. The department has about 140 beds for patient hospitalization. The department’s doctors provide their first-class medical services to more than 4,000 inpatients every year. The Maximum Care Endoprosthetics Center (EPZmax) and the certified Trauma Center are part of the department as well.

The Department of Cardiology and Pulmonology offers the full range of services in these fields and specializes in the treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases and pulmonary pathologies. The department has all the modern diagnostic capabilities for early detection, accurate diagnosis and risk assessment for diseases of the heart, blood vessels and lungs. In addition, the department operates a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, which serves to perform minimally invasive procedures, such as balloon dilatation, catheter procedures, stenting and recanalization in chronic coronary artery occlusion. The Chest Pain Unit operates around the clock (certification of the German Society of Cardiology).
Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Oncology and General Internal Medicine
The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Oncology and General Internal Medicine offers the widest range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with gastrointestinal, liver diseases, as well as oncological pathologies. Of particular interest is the treatment of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, gallbladder, biliary tract and pancreas. In addition, specialization covers the treatment of metabolic disorders and nutritional medicine. Medical care is provided in close cooperation with the Department of General and Abdominal Surgery, Department of Cardiology and Pulmonology. In the course of treatment, the doctors apply only the very latest functional and general diagnostic capabilities, as well as effective treatment methods adapted to the individual needs of each patient.
Department of Vascular Surgery
The Department of Vascular Surgery offers the full range of diagnostics and surgical treatment of various diseases of the blood vessels. The focus is on the surgical interventions for the treatment of vascular aneurysms, for example, abdominal aortic aneurysm, varicose veins, procedures for the formation and correction of dialysis shunts, treatment of vascular tumors, as well as vascular stenosis. The service spectrum is also complemented by reconstructive interventions on blood vessels, for example, for chronic wounds or diabetic foot syndrome. The clinical practice is based on the use of the very latest treatments and the high professionalism of the surgeons, which in combination provides the best treatment result.
Department of General and Abdominal Surgery
The Department of General and Abdominal Surgery offers the full range of diagnostics and surgical treatment in these fields. The department's surgeons perform about 2,000 surgical procedures annually. The therapeutic options cover not only operations on the digestive tract and abdominal organs, but also surgical treatment for soft tissue traumatic injuries, removal of skin and thyroid tumors, including the partial removal. With appropriate clinical indications, the preference is given to minimally invasive techniques, which guarantee the patient minimal postoperative risks and speedy recovery. Also, the department’s scope of activities includes the installation of port systems for chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition.
