With more than 36,000 clinical cases annually and 1,000 beds, the Academic Hospital Bogenhausen is one of the largest clinics in Munich. It specializes in the treatment of diseases of heart/blood circulation, respiratory tracts and lungs, organs of the digestive system, musculoskeletal system, hormonal disorders, metabolism as well as diseases of the nervous system. Cancer patients are treated within the certified Cancer Center.
Apart from 16 medical departments, the Hospital also includes the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology and Nuclear Medicine.
